Possible Causes
Open limit cam moved on rail, Travel settings changed after power loss, Slipping drive sprocket on shaft, Obstruction at header
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Keep the area above the door clear while adjusting open travel.
- Inspect header area: Ensure nothing is blocking the door from reaching its full open position (e.g., pipes, lights).
- Adjust open limit: Turn the open limit adjustment screw or move the cam to increase travel until the door reaches the desired height.
- Check sprocket set screws: Verify that the drive sprocket on the FAAC motor shaft is tight and not slipping.
- Relearn travel: If your model supports it, run a full travel learning cycle to reset open and close positions.
Do not set the door to open so high that it hits the opener or ceiling structure.
