Possible Causes
Burned-out light bulb, Incorrect bulb type drawing too much current, Failed light relay on FAAC board, Stuck light-on command from wall control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before changing bulbs or opening the housing.
- Replace bulb: Install a new bulb of the correct wattage and type recommended by FAAC.
- Check light settings: Some FAAC models allow programming of light behavior; verify timer and activation settings.
- Test without wall control: Disconnect the wall station to rule out a stuck light button.
- Inspect relay: If the light stays on with no command, the light relay on the board may be welded closed and the board will need replacement.
Do not exceed the maximum bulb wattage; this can overheat the housing and damage the board.
