Possible Causes

Failed internal transformer or SMPS on control board, Blown low‑voltage fuse, Short circuit on accessory terminals, Damaged rectifier or regulator components

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Mains voltages are present inside the opener. If you are not qualified, do not work on live circuits. Disconnect power before inspection.

Steps to try:

  • Check indicator LEDs: If no LEDs light on the control board, suspect a power supply issue.
  • Inspect fuses: Some Novoferm boards have replaceable fuses. With power off, check and replace any blown fuses with the exact same rating. Investigate for shorts before re‑energizing.
  • Disconnect accessories: Remove all external wiring from the low‑voltage terminals (photocells, key switches, external receivers) and power up again. A shorted accessory can overload the supply.

If E10 remains and the board still shows no or abnormal low‑voltage output, the internal power supply section has failed. Replace the Novoferm control board or have it serviced by an authorized center.
