Possible Causes
Shorted light socket or LED module, Incorrect bulb type drawing too much current, Burnt triac or relay on control board, Wiring fault to light holder
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before changing bulbs or accessing the light holder.
Steps to try:
- Check bulb type: Ensure you are using the bulb type and wattage specified by Novoferm. Replace any non‑approved LED or high‑wattage lamps.
- Inspect light holder: Remove the cover and check the lamp holder for signs of heat damage, corrosion, or loose contacts.
- Test without bulb: Remove the bulb and power up. If E14 clears, the bulb or holder may be shorted. Try a new, correct bulb.
If E14 persists with a correct bulb and intact holder, the light control circuit on the PCB is likely damaged. The control board may need replacement.
