Opener works from wall button but has very poor remote range; remote only works when standing directly under the opener.

• 1. Replace remote battery: Install a fresh battery in the remote and retest range.
• 2. Inspect antenna: Ensure the Stanley opener’s antenna wire is fully extended downward and not wrapped around metal brackets or tucked inside the housing.
• 3. Reduce interference: Replace any non-garage-rated LED bulbs in the opener with low-interference types. Move Wi-Fi routers or other RF devices away from the opener if possible.
• 4. Add external antenna: For metal garages or long distances, install a Stanley-compatible external antenna kit or receiver with a longer antenna lead, mounted away from metal obstructions.
