How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before disconnecting the topside panel.
- 1. Inspect keypad cable: Remove the equipment bay panel and locate the ribbon cable from the topside control to the Coleman control board. Unplug and replug it firmly.
- 2. Check for moisture: Inspect the back of the topside panel for water intrusion. If wet, dry thoroughly and reseal the panel to the shell with appropriate gasket or silicone.
- 3. Visual damage: Look for cracks in the keypad face or damaged ribbon cable. Replace the topside control panel if damaged.
- 4. Board communication: If a new keypad does not clear Er1, the control board's keypad interface may be faulty and the board will need replacement.
