• 1. Confirm power stability: Check if other household circuits have experienced outages or flickering. If so, PF may be a normal response to unstable power.
• 2. Inspect GFCI: Test and reset the GFCI spa breaker. If it trips repeatedly, note the pattern and contact a professional.
• 3. Check terminal block: With power off, remove the control pack cover and inspect the incoming power terminal block on the Coleman control board. Tighten any loose lugs and look for signs of heat damage.
• 4. Verify voltage: A qualified technician should measure line voltage at the spa to ensure it matches the required 120/240V configuration.
• 5. Control pack replacement: If PF appears with stable power and good connections, the internal power supply on the control board may be failing and the pack may need replacement.
