How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the spa to cool and disconnect power before working on it.
- Cool down: Remove the cover and let the spa cool to below 100°F (38°C).
- Inspect filters and flow: Clean or replace MAAX filters and verify strong circulation flow.
- Check for stuck relay: With power off, a technician can test the heater relay on the control board for welded contacts that keep the heater on.
- Reset power: After cooling and correcting flow issues, restore power and monitor operation.
- Replace components: If HLoH recurs, replace the high-limit sensor and, if necessary, the control board to correct relay issues.
