Possible Causes
Normal startup behavior after power loss, Air in plumbing, User not exiting priming mode, Control pack waiting for confirmation of flow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: PRR/PR is typically a normal priming mode, not a failure.
- Allow priming: After restoring power, let the MAAX spa run through its priming cycle. Follow on-screen prompts if present.
- Bleed air: If pumps are noisy or not moving water, turn off power and loosen pump unions to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Exit priming mode: Press the designated button (often Jets or Temp) to exit priming after confirming good water flow from all pumps.
- Check for persistent code: If PRR never clears, the control may not be detecting flow; inspect the flow switch and circulation pump.
