How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before loosening any plumbing connections.
- Open all valves: Confirm that all MAAX suction and return slice valves are fully open.
- Remove filters: Take out filters to eliminate restriction and test again.
- Bleed the pump: Loosen the pump discharge union until water flows steadily, then retighten.
- Prime via hose: Insert a garden hose into the filter well and run water to force air out of the plumbing and pump.
- Inspect impeller: If there is still no flow, remove the pump wet end and check for a broken or detached impeller. Replace the wet end or pump assembly if damaged.
