Possible Causes
Tripped GFCI breaker, Blown main fuse on MAAX control pack, Loose or burned main power connections, Failed control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Spa power circuits are high voltage. If you are not experienced, contact a licensed electrician or spa technician.
- Check GFCI: Locate the spa's GFCI breaker or disconnect and ensure it is in the ON position. Reset if tripped.
- Test outlet or feed: Use a multimeter to verify correct voltage at the spa disconnect or control pack input lugs.
- Inspect main fuses: With power off, open the MAAX control pack and check for blown fuses (glass or cartridge type). Replace only with identical ratings.
- Look for burn damage: Examine the control board and terminal block for signs of overheating or melted insulation.
- If still dead: The internal low-voltage power supply on the control board may have failed. Board replacement is typically required.
