Topside control panel buttons do not respond or respond intermittently; display may be dim or missing segments.

Safety: Turn off power before removing the topside panel.

• Inspect panel surface: Look for cracks, bubbling, or moisture under the overlay.
• Check cable connection: Remove the topside from the shell and inspect the ribbon cable and connector at the control pack for corrosion or loose fit.
• Dry and clean: If minor moisture is present, dry the area and clean contacts with electrical contact cleaner.
• Test with replacement: If available, plug in a known-good MAAX-compatible topside to see if operation returns.
• Replace panel: Install a new topside control panel if the original is unresponsive or physically damaged.
