Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker. Do not work on live circuits.
- 1. Inspect pump wiring: Remove the equipment panel and check that all pump power leads are securely connected at the control pack terminals. Look for signs of overheating or melted insulation.
- 2. Check pump operation: With power restored, activate each pump from the topside control. Listen for normal startup. If a pump hums but does not turn, shut power OFF and plan for pump replacement.
- 3. Power cycle: Turn power OFF for several minutes, then ON to see if Prr clears.
- 4. Evaluate load: If Prr appears only when a specific pump is activated, that pump may be overloading the relay. Replace the suspect pump with a PDC Spas-compatible pump of the same horsepower and voltage.
Call a technician if: Prr persists with known-good pumps and wiring. The control board pump relay or pressure sensing circuit may be defective and require board replacement.
