Possible Causes
User-selected sleep mode, Misprogrammed filtration cycles, User confusion about display codes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No direct hazard from SLP, but ensure GFCI protection is working.
- 1. Change mode: Use the topside control to switch from Sleep to Standard or Economy mode, depending on your preference.
- 2. Adjust filtration cycles: In the programming menu, verify that filter cycles are set to reasonable durations so the spa has enough run time to heat if in Economy/Sleep.
- 3. Confirm temperature set point: Ensure the set temperature is at your desired level (e.g., 100–104°F).
If SLP cannot be changed or the spa ignores mode changes, the topside or control board may have a logic fault and should be checked by a technician.
