Possible Causes

Water ingress under PDC Spas topside overlay, Worn or cracked keypad membrane, Loose ribbon cable connection, Control board keypad input fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before removing the topside panel.

  • 1. Inspect panel surface: Look for cracks, bubbles, or lifted edges on the keypad overlay where water could enter.
  • 2. Check ribbon cable: Access the underside of the topside and ensure the ribbon cable is firmly connected to both the panel and control board.
  • 3. Dry the area: If moisture is present, gently dry the panel and allow it to air out for several hours before restoring power.
  • 4. Replace keypad: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the PDC Spas topside control panel with an identical model.

If a new panel does not resolve the issue, the control board keypad interface may be faulty and require replacement.
