Possible Causes
Incorrect filter cycle programming, Failed circulation pump, Control pack timing fault, Dirty filter causing overheat and shutdown
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing the equipment bay.
- Review filter settings: Consult the QCA Spas user manual for your model and verify the F1/F2/F3 filtration settings. Adjust to a standard cycle (e.g., 2 hours twice daily).
- Check circulation pump: Ensure the small circulation pump runs during filtration. If it is silent or hot to the touch, it may be seized.
- Clean filter: A clogged filter can cause the pump to overheat and shut down during filtration. Clean or replace the filter cartridge.
