How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before attempting to spin the motor or open the pump.
- Try to spin shaft: Remove the rear motor cover and attempt to rotate the shaft with a screwdriver. If it is stuck, the motor may be seized.
- Inspect impeller: Open the wet end and remove any debris blocking the impeller.
- Replace capacitor: If the shaft spins freely, replace the start/run capacitor on the pump motor with the correct value specified for your QCA Spas pump.
