Possible Causes
Low heater wattage for spa size, Poor insulation or damaged QCA Spas cover, Excessive heat loss from wind or cold air, Circulation pump not running continuously
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks.
- Check cover condition: Inspect the QCA Spas cover for waterlogging, tears, or poor seals. Replace if heavy or damaged.
- Reduce heat loss: Use a floating thermal blanket and ensure the equipment bay door is closed and insulated.
- Verify circulation: Confirm that the circulation or low-speed pump runs during heating. If it cycles off prematurely, investigate pump or control issues.
- Adjust filtration/heating schedule: Keep the spa in Standard mode during very cold weather so it can heat whenever needed.
