How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use chemicals according to QCA Spas recommendations.
- Balance water: Test and adjust pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer to recommended ranges.
- Shock treatment: Add a shock dose to break down organics causing foam and cloudiness.
- Use foam reducer (temporary): Add a small amount of spa defoamer to reduce foam while addressing the root cause.
- Clean or replace filter: Dirty filters contribute to cloudy water; clean or replace the QCA Spas filter cartridge.
- Consider drain and refill: If TDS (total dissolved solids) is high or water is old, drain and refill the spa.
