Display shows COL or COOL; spa indicates water is too cold and may disable heater temporarily.

Safety: Protect the spa from freezing damage. Do not drain in freezing weather unless you fully winterize.

• Step 1 – Verify actual temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm water temperature. If it is near freezing, allow the spa to run; the system is protecting itself.
• Step 2 – Check cover and insulation: Ensure the Vita Spa cover is closed and in good condition to retain heat.
• Step 3 – Sensor check: If the water is warm but COL is displayed, inspect and test the temperature sensor for calibration issues and replace if necessary.
• Step 4 – Run pumps: Keep circulation and jet pumps running periodically to prevent localized freezing in plumbing.
