How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI and verify with a meter before touching heater terminals.
- Step 1 – Visual inspection: Check heater terminals on the Vita Spa pack for signs of burning, loose screws, or melted insulation.
- Step 2 – Continuity test: Disconnect heater leads and measure resistance across the heater element. An open circuit indicates a failed heater that must be replaced.
- Step 3 – Check high-limit/thermal fuse: Some Vita Spa heaters have an inline thermal fuse. If open, replace the heater assembly.
- Step 4 – Control board relay: If the heater tests good but does not receive voltage when called for heat, the heater relay or control board may be faulty and require replacement.
