How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before servicing Pump 2.
- Step 1 – Flow check: Confirm that all jets on the Pump 2 circuit are open and that there are no closed valves restricting flow.
- Step 2 – Motor inspection: Check Pump 2 for signs of overheating (burnt smell, discoloration). If present, the motor may be failing.
- Step 3 – Wiring and connector: Inspect the Pump 2 plug at the control pack and the junction box (if present) for loose or burned connections.
- Step 4 – Replace pump: If the motor is seized or drawing excessive current, replace the Pump 2 assembly with a Vita Spa-compatible unit.
