Possible Causes
Loose pump mounting bolts, Missing or deteriorated rubber isolation pads, Pump touching cabinet or plumbing under stress, Unbalanced motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before adjusting pump mounts.
- Step 1 – Inspect mounts: Check that all pump mounting bolts are snug and that rubber isolation pads are present and intact.
- Step 2 – Reposition plumbing: Ensure rigid PVC lines are not forcing the pump into a twisted position. Adjust supports or add flexible couplings if needed.
- Step 3 – Cabinet clearance: Make sure the pump and motor are not touching the cabinet walls or floor directly.
- Step 4 – Replace pads: Install new rubber isolation pads under the pump feet to reduce vibration transmission.
