How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and empty the tank before opening the base.
Steps:
- Visual inspection: Remove the tank and inspect the ultrasonic transducer in the base. Look for cracks, discoloration, or heavy scale.
- Clean transducer: Gently clean the disc with a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar, then wipe with clean water. Do not press hard or scratch the surface.
- Check wiring: Open the base (if serviceable) and verify that the transducer wires are firmly connected to the PCB.
- Replace transducer module: If H3 persists and the disc appears damaged, replace the Argo ultrasonic transducer module according to the model-specific procedure.
- Driver PCB: If a new transducer does not resolve the issue, the Argo humidifier driver PCB may be defective and should be replaced.
