E1
Unit will not start and displays E1 on the control panel.
Room Temperature Sensor Failure
E2
Display shows E2 and the dehumidifier stops running shortly after power-on.
Evaporator Coil Temperature Sensor Failure
E3
Humidifier/dehumidifier shows E3 and will not regulate humidity correctly.
Humidity Sensor (RH Sensor) Failure
E4
Display shows E4 and compressor does not start.
Refrigerant System Protection / High or Low Pressure Fault (Sensor or Circuit)
E5
Unit displays E5 and stops dehumidifying; fan may still run.
Compressor Overload / Overheat Protection
E6
Display shows E6 and the unit will not start or stops unexpectedly.
Communication Error Between Display Board and Main PCB
E7
E7 appears on the display and the water tank is empty or correctly installed.
Water Tank Level / Float Switch Error

E8 is displayed and the fan does not run or runs erratically.
Fan Motor or Fan Feedback Error

E9 appears and the unit shuts down or will not start; sometimes accompanied by a burning smell previously.

Display shows EC and the unit stops cooling/dehumidifying.

Display shows F0 and the unit does not respond to humidity settings.
Sensor Calibration / General Sensor Fault

F1 appears and the fan runs but compressor does not engage.
Low Ambient Temperature Protection / Anti-Frost Mode

F2 is displayed and the unit cycles on and off frequently without reaching set humidity.
Defrost Sensor / Evaporator Sensor Error
H1
H1 appears on an Argo humidifier and it stops producing mist.
Water Level Low / Tank Empty Protection
H2
H2 is displayed and the humidifier shuts down; base feels warm.
Overheat Protection / Dry-Run Protection
H3
H3 appears and the humidifier produces no mist even with water present.
Ultrasonic Transducer / Nebulizer Fault

H4 is displayed and the humidifier fan runs but no mist is visible.
Water Flow / Pump Fault (for plumbed or advanced Argo humidifiers)

P1 is displayed and the dehumidifier does not run; sometimes accompanied by a full tank icon.

P2 appears and the unit stops; water tank is full.
Standard Water Tank Full Condition
Symptom
Dehumidifier does not power on at all; no lights or display.
No Power / Main Power Circuit Failure

Dehumidifier fan runs continuously even when target humidity is reached.
