• Clean drain path: Locate the drain spout from the evaporator tray to the tank or hose. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove slime and debris.
• Continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it slopes downward continuously with no kinks. Clear any blockages and verify the hose outlet is not submerged.
• Test for leaks: Reinstall the tank, pour a small amount of water into the evaporator tray (if accessible), and observe for leaks before powering on.
