Possible Causes
Blocked water inlet filter, Failed internal water pump, Kinked water hose, Faulty flow sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water supply (if plumbed) and unplug the unit before servicing.
Steps:
- Check water supply: Ensure the inlet valve is open and there is adequate water pressure.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the inlet strainer or filter screen to remove debris.
- Inspect hoses: Check internal hoses for kinks, pinches, or leaks. Straighten or replace as needed.
- Test pump: With the base open and using proper electrical safety, briefly power the unit and listen for the pump. If silent, test voltage at the pump terminals. Replace the Argo humidifier water pump if it does not run with correct voltage.
- Flow sensor: If equipped, inspect and clean the flow sensor. Replace the Argo water flow sensor if it fails continuity or rotation tests.
