Dehumidifier vibrates excessively and moves on the floor

Safety: Unplug the unit before inspection.

Steps:

• Leveling: Place the Cecotec dehumidifier on a flat, solid surface. Use rubber pads under the feet to dampen vibration.
• Fan inspection: Check the fan wheel for missing blades or deformation. Replace the fan wheel if damaged.
• Bracket tightening: Tighten screws on the fan motor bracket and compressor mounting plate.
• Compressor check: Some vibration at compressor start is normal. If vibration is extreme and accompanied by loud knocking, consult a technician.
