Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse, Faulty power cord, Defective main PCB power supply, Faulty on/off switch or touch panel

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the Cecotec dehumidifier before opening the cabinet. Mains voltage is present on the PCB.

Steps:

  • Outlet check: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers.
  • Power cord: Inspect the cord for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace if damaged.
  • Fuse check: Remove the rear cover and locate the fuse on the main PCB (usually near the power input). Test with a multimeter and replace with the same rating if blown.
  • Control panel: Ensure the child lock (if present) is not engaged. For touch panels, press firmly and try multiple buttons.
  • PCB replacement: If the fuse is good and there is still no power, the power supply section of the main board may be defective and require replacement by a technician.
