Possible Causes
Failed onboard humidity sensor, Sensor blocked by condensation, Loose sensor connector, Faulty main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the Cecotec humidifier from power before opening the housing.
Steps:
- Dry the unit: If the humidifier has been running at maximum output in a small room, condensation may form on the sensor. Turn it off and let it dry for several hours.
- Clean sensor area: Locate the humidity sensor vents (often on the control panel or side). Gently clean dust from the area with a soft brush.
- Inspect wiring: Open the control panel and check the sensor connector on the PCB. Reseat it.
- Replace sensor: If F3 persists, replace the humidity sensor module with a Cecotec-compatible part.
