Dehumidifier shows P2 and stops, water tank is full

Safety: Turn off and unplug the Cecotec dehumidifier before removing the water tank.

Steps:

• Empty tank: Remove and empty the water tank. Clean it with mild detergent if dirty.
• Check tank seating: Reinstall the tank firmly until it clicks or sits flush. Many models will show P2 if the tank is not fully inserted.
• Continuous drain: If using a hose, ensure it is not kinked or blocked and that it slopes downward to the drain.
• Float switch check: If P2 remains with an empty, correctly seated tank, inspect the float and tank full switch for sticking or failure. Clean or replace as needed.
