Humidifier leaks water around the base or onto furniture

Safety: Unplug the Cecotec humidifier and remove it from any electrical devices or wooden surfaces until dry.

Steps:

• Tank inspection: Remove the tank, dry it, and inspect for cracks or pinholes. Replace if damaged.
• Cap and gasket: Check the tank cap and rubber gasket for deformation or wear. Replace the gasket if it no longer seals tightly.
• Seating: Ensure the tank is properly seated on the base and not tilted.
• Fill level: Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Overfilling can cause leaks.
