How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Cecotec humidifier before cleaning. Do not add chemicals other than recommended descalers.
Steps:
- Water and tank: Fill the tank with clean water and ensure it is correctly seated so water flows into the base.
- Clean transducer: Empty the base and gently clean the ultrasonic membrane with white vinegar and a soft cloth. Rinse and dry.
- Outlet check: Inspect the mist outlet for blockages or mineral buildup. Clean with a soft brush.
- Test: Reassemble and run the unit. If there is still no mist and you cannot hear the faint buzzing of the transducer, the transducer or driver circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
