Continuous drain not working; water still fills the tank

Safety: Unplug the unit and empty the tank before adjustments.

Steps:

• 1. Hose routing: Ensure the drain hose is connected firmly to the Ebac drain outlet and that the hose runs downhill all the way to the drain point.
• 2. Remove kinks: Straighten any kinks or loops in the hose that could trap air or water.
• 3. Clear spigot: Remove the hose and inspect the drain spigot for debris or scale. Clean thoroughly.
• 4. Internal diverter: Some models use an internal plug or diverter that must be removed or repositioned for continuous drain. Confirm it is set correctly per the user manual.
• 5. Test: Reconnect and pour a small amount of water into the evaporator tray (if accessible) or run the unit and confirm water exits via the hose instead of filling the tank.
