How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Check for physical damage: Inspect the control panel for cracks or signs of impact.
- 2. Reseat cable: Open the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and the display or main PCB.
- 3. Clean contacts: If accessible, gently clean keypad contact areas with isopropyl alcohol.
- 4. Replace keypad/UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the keypad overlay or user interface PCB with the correct Ebac part.
