Safety: Unplug the unit. Refrigerant systems are sealed; do not cut or open lines unless you are a certified refrigeration technician.

Steps (user-level):

• 1. Check airflow: Clean the air filter, intake grille, and condenser coil. Ensure the fan is running at full speed.
• 2. Observe operation: After cleaning, run the unit for 15–20 minutes. Check if the evaporator coil becomes evenly cool and slightly wet. If only a small section frosts or the coil stays warm, there may be a refrigerant issue.
• 3. Sensor inspection: Verify that the evaporator and ambient sensors are correctly attached and wiring is intact. Replace any obviously damaged sensors.
• 4. Professional service: If F2 persists and cooling is inadequate, contact an Ebac-authorized refrigeration technician to check system pressures, locate leaks, and recharge or replace components as needed.
