Safety: No internal work is required for basic unlocking.

Steps:

• 1. Attempt unlock: On many Ebac models, press and hold the "Lock" or a combination of buttons (e.g., Up and Down arrows) for 3–5 seconds until the lock icon disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact sequence.
• 2. Power reset: If the lock will not clear, unplug the unit for 5 minutes and try the unlock sequence again.
• 3. Check for stuck buttons: If certain buttons feel stuck or do not click, the keypad may be physically jammed. Gently clean around the buttons.
• 4. Replace UI panel: If the lock cannot be cleared and buttons are unresponsive, replace the user interface PCB or keypad assembly.
