Possible Causes

Loose mains plug or socket, Loose internal spade connectors, Cracked solder joints on PCB, Faulty power switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before inspection. Mains voltage is present inside.

Steps:

  • 1. External check: Ensure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
  • 2. Internal wiring: Remove the cover and inspect all spade connectors on the power switch, PCB, and compressor. Tighten or crimp loose connectors.
  • 3. PCB inspection: Examine the main PCB for cracked solder joints, especially at the mains input and relay terminals. Resolder or replace the board as needed.
  • 4. Power switch: Wiggle the power switch while the unit is running (use caution). If the unit cuts out, replace the switch.
