Dehumidifier leaks water onto the floor instead of into the bucket or drain hose.

Steps:

• Inspect bucket: Remove the bucket and check for cracks or overfilling. Ensure the bucket is not warped and seats properly.
• Clean drain channel: Look inside the cabinet where water drips from the evaporator into the drain trough. Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clear any slime or debris from the drain hole.
• Flush with water: With the bucket removed, pour a small amount of warm water into the drain trough and confirm it flows freely into the bucket area or hose connection.
• Check drain hose: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached to the drain outlet, slopes downward, and is not kinked or blocked.
• Level the unit: Use a level to ensure the dehumidifier is sitting flat. Adjust feet if available.
• Replace damaged parts: Replace a cracked bucket or damaged drain pan with Frigidaire OEM parts.
