Steps:

• Inspect float: Remove the bucket and check the float mechanism. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up position.
• Check bucket shape: Look for warping or damage that prevents the bucket from fully seating. Replace if deformed.
• Test switch manually: Locate the bucket full switch in the cabinet. Press it with your finger; you should hear a click. If not, the switch may be defective.
• Check wiring: Ensure the switch wires are firmly connected and not broken.
• Replace switch: If the switch does not change state when pressed (tested with a meter if available), replace it with a Frigidaire bucket switch.
