Dehumidifier displays F2 and will not run; sometimes appears after long continuous operation.

Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.

Steps:

• Empty and reseat tank: Completely empty the tank, clean it, and reinstall it firmly.
• Check continuous drain: If using a hose, ensure it slopes downward with no kinks and that the outlet is not submerged or blocked.
• Float switch test: Access the float switch assembly and test it with a multimeter for proper open/closed operation as the float moves.
• Replace faulty parts: Install a new tank float switch assembly if the existing one fails continuity tests.
• Control board: If the switch is good but F2 remains, the main control board may be misreading the tank status.
