How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the control panel or sensor.
Steps:
- Dry environment: If the unit has been operating in very damp conditions, allow it to dry for several hours unplugged.
- Clean sensor: Access the humidity sensor near the air inlet or control panel. Gently blow off dust and moisture with dry compressed air.
- Inspect wiring: Check for damaged insulation or wires touching metal parts. Repair or replace the harness as needed.
- Replace sensor: If H1 persists, install a new humidity sensor module compatible with your Gree model.
- Control board: If a new sensor does not resolve H1, the main control board may be defective.
