Possible Causes
Drain hose installed incorrectly, Hose outlet higher than drain port, Blocked hose or drain fitting, Internal drain adapter not seated
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before adjusting the drain hose.
Steps:
- Hose routing: Ensure the hose runs downward from the drain port with no upward loops. The end of the hose must be lower than the drain outlet on the unit.
- Check for clogs: Disconnect the hose and flush it with water to clear any blockage.
- Drain adapter: Verify that the internal drain adapter or plug is correctly installed and sealed to the drain pan.
- Test without hose: Temporarily remove the hose and operate with the tank only. If the tank fills normally without leaks, the issue is with the hose setup.
