E3 error appears; ice maker runs briefly then stops; fan may run but no ice is produced.
Safety Warning
This repair may involve working with high voltage components or water connections. Always unplug the appliance before removing any panels.

Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
Access the temperature sensor:
- Remove the top cover and side panel as needed (Phillips screws) to expose the evaporator (the cold metal grid where ice forms).
- Locate the NTC temperature sensor, usually a small probe or bead sensor clipped or taped to the evaporator tubing with two thin wires leading to the control board.
Inspect and reseat:
- Ensure the sensor is firmly attached to the evaporator surface; re-clip or re-tape if it has fallen off.
- Check the wiring for cuts, abrasions, or signs of overheating. Confirm the connector is fully seated on the PCB.
Clean and reset:
- Dust off the condenser and fan area to ensure proper airflow, as overheating can trigger sensor-related errors.
- Reassemble, plug in, and restart the unit. Allow a full cycle to see if E3 reappears.
If E3 persists: Replace the NTC temperature sensor with a compatible AGLUCKY sensor. If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be defective and should be replaced or serviced by a technician.
