Add Water
“Add Water” indicator stays on even when the reservoir is full; unit will not start ice-making cycle.
False Low Water Level Indication
Clean
“Clean” indicator stays on or flashes; unit may beep and recommend cleaning; ice quality is poor.
Maintenance / Scale Buildup Reminder
E1
Ice maker stops and displays E1; unit powers on but will not start ice-making cycle.
Water Inlet Sensor / Low Water Level Detection Fault
E2
E2 error on display; ice-making cycle stops early or does not start; unit may beep repeatedly.
Ice Full Sensor / Infrared Beam Fault
E3
E3 error appears; ice maker runs briefly then stops; fan may run but no ice is produced.
Ambient / Internal Temperature Sensor Fault
E4
E4 error on display; compressor may not start or shuts down quickly; unit may feel warm inside.
Compressor Overload / High Temperature Protection Fault
E5
E5 error displayed; ice maker may start but quickly stops; sometimes accompanied by unusual clicking from compressor area.
Compressor Start Failure / PTC Relay Fault
E6
E6 error appears; ice maker may run water but does not freeze properly; cycles may abort.
Evaporator Defrost / Ice Release Sensor Fault
E7
E7 error code; unit may beep and stop; fan may run but compressor does not stay on long enough to make ice.
System Overheat / High Ambient Temperature Fault
E8
E8 error; water pump may not run, or unit beeps with no water circulation; no ice production.
Water Pump Circuit Fault
E9
E9 error displayed; unit may fill with water but then stops; sometimes accompanied by unusual buzzing from pump area.
Water Flow / Blocked Water Path Fault
Ice Full
“Ice Full” indicator remains on even when the ice basket is empty; unit will not make ice.
False Ice Bin Full Detection
Symptom
Compressor runs continuously and becomes very hot; little or no ice is produced.
Overworked / Inefficient Compressor
Symptom
Condenser fan does not spin; unit overheats or makes ice very slowly.
Condenser Fan Failure
Symptom
Display and lights are on, but pressing the power or start button does nothing.
Unresponsive Control Panel
Symptom
Display segments are missing or unreadable; some numbers or letters do not show correctly.
Display Module Failure
Symptom
Evaporator does not frost evenly; only part of the grid gets cold.
Partial Frost Pattern / Restricted Refrigerant Flow
Symptom
Fan runs but compressor never starts; no cooling on evaporator.
Compressor Not Starting
Symptom
Ice appears cloudy or white instead of clear.
Cloudy Ice Formation
Symptom
Ice does not drop from the evaporator; cubes remain stuck and eventually melt off.
Ice Release / Harvest Failure
Symptom
Ice has a bad taste or odor (plastic, chemical, or musty) even with fresh water.
Contaminated Ice / Odor Transfer
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation; rattling, buzzing, or grinding sounds are heard.
Excessive Operational Noise
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice very slowly compared to normal; long time to fill basket.
Reduced Ice Production Rate
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are oversized, stick together, or jam the ice shovel.
Oversized Ice / Ice Thickness Control Fault
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small or hollow and melt quickly.
Insufficient Ice Size / Hollow Ice
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all; compressor and fan may or may not run.
No Ice Production
Symptom
Ice maker runs continuously without stopping, even when the ice basket is full.
Ice Level Detection Failure (No Auto-Stop)
Symptom
Ice maker starts a cycle but stops after a few minutes without producing ice; then restarts and repeats.
Short Cycling / Incomplete Ice Cycle
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively or “walks” on the counter during operation.
Excessive Vibration
Symptom
Ice maker will not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.
No Power / Dead Unit
Symptom
Ice shovel or sweep arm jams, making clicking or grinding noises; ice does not move into the basket properly.
Ice Shovel / Sweep Arm Jam
Symptom
Unit frequently trips the household circuit breaker or blows fuses when starting.
Electrical Overload / Short Circuit
Symptom
Water accumulates inside the ice storage area or under the ice basket, causing ice to melt quickly.
Internal Water Pooling
Symptom
Water leaking from the bottom or sides of the AGLUCKY ice maker onto the counter or floor.
External Water Leak
Symptom
Water pump is very loud or makes grinding noises during operation.
Noisy / Failing Water Pump
