How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals that are not food-safe.
Deep clean the ice maker:
- Drain the reservoir completely.
- Prepare a solution of white vinegar and warm water (1:1) or a food-safe ice machine cleaner.
- Wipe the reservoir, evaporator, ice basket, and lid interior thoroughly with the solution. Use a soft brush for corners.
- Run a full cleaning cycle if your AGLUCKY model supports it.
Rinse thoroughly:
- Drain and refill with clean water, then run and discard the first 2–3 batches of ice.
Prevent recurrence:
- Use only fresh, cold drinking water.
- Store the unit with the lid slightly open when not in use for extended periods to prevent musty odors.
