Possible Causes
Ice maker placed in hot environment (above rated temperature), Blocked ventilation openings, Failing condenser fan, Excessive dust on condenser coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before cleaning or moving the unit.
Improve environment:
- Move the AGLUCKY ice maker to a cooler room (ideally 50–90°F / 10–32°C).
- Ensure at least 6 inches (15 cm) clearance on all sides and above. Do not place it under low cabinets or next to ovens or dishwashers.
Clean cooling system:
- Remove the rear/side panel and vacuum or brush dust from the condenser coil and fan blades.
- Verify the condenser fan spins freely and starts whenever the compressor runs.
Reset and test:
- Allow the unit to cool for 30–60 minutes unplugged.
- Plug back in and start a cycle. If E7 reappears quickly in a cool, well-ventilated area, the temperature sensing or control board may be faulty and require replacement.
