“Ice Full” indicator remains on even when the ice basket is empty; unit will not make ice.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before touching sensors.

Clean and clear sensors:

• Remove the ice basket and any remaining ice.
• Locate the ice full sensor (usually two small windows or lenses facing each other across the bin opening).
• Clean both lenses with a soft, dry cloth. If greasy, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry completely.

Check alignment and wiring:

• Ensure both sensor modules are firmly mounted and directly facing each other.
• Access the wiring harness and confirm connectors are secure on both the sensor and control board.

Test:

• Reassemble, plug in, and power on. If “Ice Full” still shows with an empty basket, replace the ice full sensor module.
