Ice maker leaks water onto the floor from the rear or bottom.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and close the water supply immediately to prevent flooding and electrical hazards.

• Identify leak source: Pull the Amica ice maker away from the wall and dry the exterior. Turn the water supply on briefly and observe where water appears.
• Check inlet hose: Tighten the connection at both the household valve and the rear of the ice maker. Replace the hose if it shows cracks or bulges.
• Inspect drain hose: Ensure the drain hose is not split or disconnected. Replace if brittle or damaged.
• Internal inspection: Remove the rear or bottom panel and inspect all internal hoses and clamps around the sump, pump, and inlet valve. Tighten clamps and replace any hose that shows signs of leakage.
• Replace leaking valve: If water seeps from the body of the inlet valve itself, replace the valve assembly.
