Water accumulates inside the ice bin or under the evaporator, but not on the floor.

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before working inside the bin area.

• Clear ice around drain: Remove the ice bin and inspect the drain opening at the bottom. Melt any ice blocking the drain using warm (not boiling) water.
• Flush drain channel: Pour warm water mixed with a little mild detergent down the drain to dissolve grease or scale. Follow with clean water.
• Check drain hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward to the drain point and is not kinked or looped.
• Clean drain hose: Disconnect the hose at the rear and flush it thoroughly. Replace if heavily scaled or collapsed.
